New Week, I guess

Hello Everyone

I decided to try something different this time, and do my mass email first. I don't know, though, if I'll have time to get to the other emails I have. I don't have a lot but I still may not, depending really on how much time the others want to spend here. But, here's what's been going on.
One of our main investigators is still living in her bad situation. We've tried many times to get her out, but we can't seem to find anything, and frankly, I'm thinking that if she's going to move out, it needs to be somewhere where she can live alone. The reason she's still in that situation with her boyfriend is because she's never had to depend on herself for her own support in her life, and has depended on others to provide for her. It's sad, but that's how it's been, and I'm thinking that if she did move out of that situation, she'd simply be going from one place to another, just so we can baptize her. That doesn't sound right, so I'm a little hesitant to continue looking for places for her to move out, unless she intends to move out on her own.
Also, we were given another investigator by one of our ward missionaries. I don't know if I've talked about her yet, but she and her daughter are really nice. They live with a less-active/part member family in our ward, and have lately been looking for a good church. The only problem is that we've been having a heck of a time trying to meet with them. Their schedule is so sporadic that we can never get a solid time. We're trying, though, because she's got some good potential. Also, the same ward missionary got in contact with one of our former investigators. We're going to try stopping by him sometime this week.
Also, one person we were stopping by for the longest time has been admitted to the hospital. She has been fighting an infection in her foot for a long time, but she keeps smoking, and that has really hindered her healing process. We've been meeting and chatting with her, but haven't gotten around to talking about the gospel. The reason was to make friends first, and then move on to the gospel. But, she's lately been admitted to the hospital, and, from what the person who answered the door said, she's going to be in a home soon. So, we've essentially lost track of her. Kinda sad, but that sort of stuff happens sometimes.
As for other stuff, on P-day, we had Indian Food Fear Factor. It wasn't really terrible. The food (some of it, anyways) was actually pretty good. Then, after that, we were playing board games. This was also at the Institute building, and so there was a ping-pong and a pool table. That was fun. Other than that, this week was fairly uneventful.
That about covers it for now. Please keep sending me the emails, and I'll talk to you all later. Loves

Elder Shepherd
